Our students know that their college essay or activities list is where they need to shine, but in many cases, they don’t know how to do that – how to stand out, how to be unique, how to be real.

 

This is where Essential College Coaches steps in. We help your student highlight what makes them unique and craft their story.

Our Essay/Activities List Credit Packages:

Each Essay Credit = 1 Essay or Activities List Review

Students can use Essay Credits for review of Personal Statement, Supplemental Essays or Activities List.

​You can select the package that best suits your needs  and then click through to submit your essay or activities list and submit payment.

 

You can select from the following packages:​

2 essay credits - $300

4 essay credits - $600​

6 essay credits – $900​

12 essay credits – $1650​​

Please note: Essay Review time is 48-72 hours

 

If you have a Nov 1st Deadlines the LAST DAY for submissions is October 26th. Any essays or activities list received after October 26th will be returned November 2nd!

1-hour Essay Brainstorming Add-on

30-Minute Feedback Clarification Call

 

Understand your feedback. Have questions about our essay or activities list recommendations? Meet one-on-one with an Essential College Coaches consultant for a focused, 30-minute telephone call to discuss your reviewed work and move forward with confidence.

During your call, we will help you:

  • Understand our comments and suggested changes.

  • Clarify questions about structure, content, reflection, or wording.

  • Identify the revisions that deserve the most attention.

2 credits - Add one 30-minute call for $125

4 credits - Add one 30-minute call for $125

6 credits - One complimentary 30-minute call included

12 credits - One complimentary 30-minute call included

Calls focus on feedback ECC has already provided on your essay or activities list. New drafts and additional written reviews require essay credits. Topic brainstorming and broader college planning are separate services.

1-Hour Essay Brainstorming Session – $250 Add-On

​

If your student is struggling to get started or unsure how to begin writing their personal statement, this session is the perfect first step.

​

Set the foundation for a compelling and authentic Common App personal statement with our focused 1-hour brainstorming session. Prior to the meeting, students will complete a guided pre-session assignment designed to help them reflect on their background, interests, and experiences. Brainstorming is only for students who have NOT begun writing their essay.

​

During our live 1 hour Zoom session, we’ll work collaboratively to uncover a strong, meaningful essay direction. We will explore the student’s academic and extracurricular accomplishments, core values, and unique personal characteristics. 

​

By the end of the session, students will walk away with 2–3 essay topic ideas and a clear sense of direction for their personal statement.

 

This service can be added to any of our essay support packages for $250.
