Do you work with students in all states?

Yes. We are based in the south hills of Pittsburgh but, we work with students across the country and the globe. We have monthly one-on-one meetings to guide you through each step of the admissions process.

 

Do you only counsel students seeking elite college admission?

No! Essential College Coaches’ mission is to help our students find their right fit college. We teach them to be savvy college consumers while helping them prepare a strong college application package.

Who will my student work with?

All students work directly with the founding partners and elite college counselors Lisa Clark and Geralyn Austin. You will never meet with assistants.

Do you know what college admissions officers are looking for?

Essential College Coaches had developed relationships and is in constant communication with college admissions officers from around the globe. After years of improving thousands of applications and essays, we know what stands out in a competitive applicant pool!

If I am an average student, can you help me?

Yes! We started Essential College Coaches with a firm belief that every child has unique gifts to offer the world. Many students do not reach their full academic potential in high school. No matter your grades or test scores, we will maximize the strength of your applications to help you you get accepted to your first choice college

All of our past students have been accepted to one of their top-choice and best-fit college WITH significant merit aid.

How many students do you work with?

We only work with a small group of students to ensure we provide the necessary one-on-one support.
